So the official arrival date into the country was February 14th at 9:53am. While it all seemed like peaches and cream the getting here was most definitely NOT the fun part. The first flight out from Green Bay to Chicago wasn't such a bad thing but then a 3 hour layover in Chicago. Our next flight from Chicago out to SanFran got a wee bit longer with a 4 hour flight on a crammed plane. Next another 3 hour layover in SanFran which seemed like eternity. What was even peachier was that lovely 13 hour flight from SanFran to Auckland. Talk about a miserable 13 hours with patches of 20 minutes of sleep and constant glances at the map to see how long we have left. Kinda makes you enjoy those "long" 3 hour carrides even more. As I could get into details, I'm just going to leave it at, It sucked&I am so happy to be on the ground. Even then the obnoxious wait through customs. Save yourself some trouble, do not bring used camping equipment or food. Just buy new stuff so you don't have to deal with that headache.
