SKYTOWER

The skytower is something I got to enjoy with both my dad and my sister. The crazy thing about the skytower is that it is visible from just about everywhere in Auckland but on a cloudy (not just foggy) day, the top half of it disappears completely. If you have every been to the Willis Tower in Chicago, it almost is an equivalent to looking outside of it with 360 views and clear tile you can see below you with. There's 2 watch decks you can go on to; which you are 220 meters above the street. You can see out about 51 miles, which is incredible. On a nice day you can see the cruise ships at the harbor, point out the Uni, volcanoes like Mt. Eden and neighboring islands. At night the needle of the skytower lights up and for the first week I was here, the top lit up rainbow colors in honor of the celebration of gay pride. People can do the walk around the "ring" outside of the skytower or do a jump off of it (which no I have not done; not dangerous enough for me)
